Raman Singh is the founder and COO of Helious Knowledge Management Group. He established Helious after proven successes in meeting the challenges of operations in urban education. Every enterprise that he undertakes benefits from his superior knowledge and understanding of the educational scenario. Raman is a regular participant at conferences dealing with improvements in education, including the annual NESA (Near East South Asia Council of Overseas Schools) and IBO (International Baccalaureate Organisation) conferences.
He is well acquainted with the working systems of some of the most renowned IBO authorised schools, having visited, among others, the Emirates International School in Dubai; the American Embassy School in New Delhi; Gurgaon's GD Goenka World School as well as the Pathway World School; Mumbai's Dhirubhai Ambani International School and the American International School; the Oakridge International School in Hyderabad; and the International School of Bangalore.
Prior to founding Helious, Raman was with NIIT, Mumbai, where he went from being Head of Centre to Area Manager. He has also served as a sales trainee at the Standard Chartered Bank. Raman holds a degree in management from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai.

Dr Rakesh Singh has conducted classes/seminars/workshop for a number of corporates in the area of Business environment, rural marketing and supply chain management and Forecasting. He has carried out research for a number of Indian organizations. Some of his research areas are related to agribusiness supply chain and vertical coordination in food retailing industry. He is published in various research journals around the globe. He is on the editorial board of many management and academic journals. He was the principal architect behind Times group food BtoB publications like Times agricultural and food processing Journal. He is a certified forecaster from the Institute of Business forecasting, Florida.
Over and above his academic rigor prof Rakesh brings in a definite touch of industry relevance by being a consultant to a number of companies, Banks and industry associations. They Include companies like Bayer crop sciences, Monsanto, Rallis, HDFC, Globus, JISCO, EID Parry, BASF, Mahindra Tractors, John Deer, AFL and a couple of other corporates.
He is the recipient of 'The Best Faculty Award' of NMIMS in the year 2001. Association of Indian Management Schools also awarded him the ‘The Best Research Paper’ prize in the year 2002, for his research “Probing Forecasting in Indian Firms”.
He has been invited by various industry associations to speak on issues related to Indian economy, supply chain forecasting and agribusiness issues. He spoke on IT in rural economy and role of corporates at CII Agrotech 2oo2 at Chandigarh. In 2004 he was again invited to speak on food retailing in India. He was invited to speak on Supply chain forecasting in Indian agribusiness by council of Logistics management at Mumbai in May 2004. CII institute of Logistics Management invited him to speak on quick response in food retailing in India in April 2004. He has been a regular speaker at Budget analysis by Indian Merchant Chamber, BSE and Refco securities.

Mr. Ananda Athukorala has been associated with the field of Education for the past 3 and half decades. He has travelled the globe to share his devout knowledge on learning. After achieving B A (Hon) in Geography, he went an extra mile to enhance his skills and completed a Diploma in Education from London and a Post Graduate Research from USA.
A born leader, Mr. Ananda has an extraordinary consultation abilities, he has always been an encouraging mentor and always on the advisory position. His journey in spreading the knowledge began in 1970 in Woizro Siheen Comp College in Ethopia (HOD of Humanities). In 1975 he was appointed as the Deputy Head of Department in Holy Names High School in South Africa. Later in 1980 he mentored Machabang International College in Lesotho as the HOD of Humanities (CAS coordinator, IGSCE coordinator) and in 1990 as the Head of Geography, Head of CAS in Overseas children’s School Colombo.
He served the Asian continent in the recent years as the HOD of Humanities, IBDP and MYP, TOK coordinator and as a Head of CAS, MYP and IDBP in 1995 for The New International School in Thailand. He facilitated his knowledge to Dhirubhai Ambani International School, India, as a teacher, a coordinator, an advisor and a manager from 2003-2009. He has been an Education consultant at the Asian Development Project (2009) before taking the responsibility as the Head of School in Mainadevi Bajaj International School.
Mr. Ananda’s enduring efforts have been acceptable, appreciated and rewarded for his remarkable performance in this field. He has proudly achieved awards like King Mohoto Award for Youth activities in Lesotho, Ministry of Education Recommendation in community service in Nan-young district of Thailand, Honourable mention of IGCSE Geography Results Best in the world 2006-2007. In addition to this, he has written India studies IGCSE syllabus 2007 which is to be implemented from 2010 onwards. He has conducted several workshops for IBDP and MYP programme in SAISA (South Asia Inter-School Association)and NESA (North East South Asia); mainly TOK, Geography learning styles and CAS. He was twice selected to represent ASIA by IB for guide writing IBDP and MYP humanities programmes.
His remarkable and unique attempts of imparting knowledge has made ‘Education’ an effortless understanding- which otherwise is an incomprehensive and compulsive routine.
Mr. David Bucknell has an MST in English and a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences. A generalist with over 25 years of teaching experience, 16 of them as a technology coordinator, he is passionate about enabling users to realize the promise of ed-tech to do their work better and more easily using sustainable high-tech solutions. He is an expert at bringing together high powered programmers and teachers to create truly useful, powerful and friendly solutions for schools.
Although now leading technology teams helping schools, he started teaching English and history in Montessori schools in the U.S . During the course of his career he has taught grades 3 through 12 in almost all subjects including International Baccalaureate English (Language B, higher Level) and Advanced Placement English Language and Literature. Beginning with the American International School in Dhaka in 1991, he has taught abroad in Thailand, Israel and India as well as Bangladesh.
Inspired by the potential of the Web to empower students to become authors and to bridge previously isolated international schools, he was an early adopter of Web-based education starting “blog” style Web sites for teachers and students as early as 1996 (http://iteachnet.org). He also set up one of the first school Web servers in Thailand and created an affordable, usable network at the New International School of Thailand. In 1998 he took on the position of Technology Coordinator at WBAIS in Israel. Under his guidance WBAIS became well-known as an educational technology leader among international schools.
Returning to Thailand in 2000, he established Open Source Schools (http://flossed.org) and Schoolforge.net, two Web sites and an organization dedicated to fostering the use of free and open source tools in schools. In 2003 he became Assistant Academic Director and Technology Coordinator at Rose Marie Academy (http://rose-marie.ac.th), just north of Bangkok. Over three years, he led the transition to a sustainably priced, legal, high-powered and up-to-date technology system.
In 2006, he founded International Knowledge Networks Co., Ltd. in Thailand to bring his experience and the power of community-based networking to schools in Asia and around the world.
